Stefania eyes Eurovision return

On the latest episode of The Euro Trip, Greek singer Stefania revealed that she would “love” to return to the Eurovision Song Contest.

Stefania represented Greece at Eurovision earlier this year in Rotterdam with her song Last Dance. She secured her country’s best result since 2013 with 10th place after a tiebreak with Bulgaria.

Reflecting on her Eurovision experience with Euro Trip presenter James Rowe, Stefania said: “It was such a nice experience and I would love to do it again.

“You know why? It’s just because of the experience. We had an experience but it was with the virus going on and the distance you needed to keep.

“I just really want to feel everybody being so close with each other, holding each other [and] we didn’t have any after parties. It’s Eurovision, we just really wanted an after party.

Stefania was due to represent Greece in 2020 with the song Supergirl before the contest was cancelled as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The 18-year-old singer wouldn’t be drawn on if she would specifically represent Greece again but cryptically said: “So if a country is asking me to represent a country then why not? It’s just a beautiful experience.”
