The Euro Trip is a trusted name in the Eurovision sphere and the wider media landscape.

Outlets including BBC News, The Guardian, The i and The Official Charts Company have referenced and sourced the work of The Euro Trip.

For years, Rob – and regular contributors James and Callum – have appeared in the media as Eurovision experts trusted to report on, and provide analysis of, breaking news stories. During the crisis-filled Eurovision week in 2024 alone, they were seen and heard on BBC News, ITV News, Sky News and more in the UK, and BBC World News, Radio New Zealand, ABC Australia and more internationally.

Rob and James were employed by Swedish broadcaster SVT in 2022 to provide English language commentary of the Melodifestivalen Final. They were also recruited by Česká televize to co-host ESCZ 2023, Czechia’s Eurovision selection show.

Rob produced a documentary for BBC Sounds in 2023 focussing on the integral role of commentators at the Eurovision Song Contest.

James was a Story Consultant on British soap opera Hollyoaks which incorporated Eurovision into a storyline to coincide with the contest being hosted in Liverpool in 2023.
