Victor Crone planning possible Eurovision return in 2023

Former Estonian Eurovision representative Victor Crone has told the latest episode of The Euro Trip podcast he’d love to compete in the contest again, with the Swedish singer contemplating an entry for next year’s Eesti Laul or Melodifestivalen.

Victor Crone represented Estonia at the contest in 2019 in Tel Aviv, eventually qualifying for the Grand Final before finishing in 20th postion.

Speaking to The Euro Trip podcast host Rob Lilley, he says she’d love to return to Eurovision again.

“I think I’ve learned a lot of what to do for next time, because I’m definitely going to try one more time.

When asked whether he’d favour representing his native Sweden, or once again representing Estonia, he said no decision had been made.

“It is such mixed emotions, I love Eesti Laul, I feel really at thome there, and I love Sweden as well, so I haven’t come that far in the planning.

“My first goal is to write a song that I think could win it all.

“Lets see, I wouldn’t mind, I have to find the right song… but I’m definitely going to give it a try [to do it next year].”

Victor Crone is involved with both Estonia and Sweden’s selection shows this year, providing backing vocals for Stig Rasta’s Eesti Laul entry “Interstellar” and co-writing Robin Bengtsson’s Melodifestivalen song “Innocent Love”.
